At Brownie’s Marine Group, we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. It is our intent to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you or received from a partner. All security on our Websites is treated seriously. Where applicable, we undertake security steps, including use of SSL technology, on our back-end systems that store customer account information and to protect data transmissions. However, this is not a guarantee that such data transmissions cannot be accessed, altered or deleted due to firewall or other security software failures. We use a variety of current technologies and processes for protection of our customer data. We limit the information we provide to outside companies with whom we contract to only what they need to carry out their responsibilities.

How We Use Email:  When you provide us your email address, we will email you as necessary to process your order, respond to a request or provide customer service. For example, after you place an order at Brownie’s, you will receive an email confirmation. We also send out a monthly update with news, sales, and announcements – You may opt-out of this email by selecting Unsubscribe in the footer of the email. Brownie’s implements a variety of safety measures to ensure the safety of your personal information. We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to any outside parties.

Personal Information

“Personal information” is information that allows us to identify you. The types of Personal Information that we may collect from you includes, your name, home address, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, and account information, such as your username, password, credit card information and other payment information.

We may collect person information from you on or through the Web Site or Services in a variety of ways, including, when you register on the Web Site, purchase a Service, participate in online contests, surveys or games, sign-up for a newsletter or subscription or purchase merchandise.

We also may, from time to time, receive Personal Information about you from third party sources to improve the Web Site and our Services, and for the various purposes outlined herein.

Device Identifiable Information

We may collect information that does not identify you personally but is linked to your computer or device (“Device Identifiable Information”). We collect Device Identifiable Information from you in the normal course of operating our Website. Aggregated Demographic Information.

We may use or share with third parties aggregated demographic information collected on or through the Web Site and Services for various purposes such as fan research and audience analysis. Aggregated demographic information does not include and is not linked to any Personal Information that can identify you or another individual person, but we may use your to IP Addresses to verify users’ locations for various purposes, including blackout restrictions.

Third-Party Marketers

Currently we do not share any of our data with Third-Party Marketers, dealers or distributors. However, in the future we may share your Device Identifiable information with our marketing partners and other third parties so that they may contact you directly regarding special promotions or offers (such as subscriptions to and promotions for goods and services, including, for example, through participation in a co-sponsored sweepstakes or contest). We are not responsible for how these third parties may use your information, and such uses are subject to their own policies. If you do not wish that your information be used by Third-Party Marketers please do not enter any future contests via social media, or otherwise. If you wish to opt-out of these messages, you may do so upon receipt of the marketing material or by adjusting your privacy settings on social media platforms.

Other Disclosures: We may also share Personal Information and Device Identifiable Information under the following circumstances:

Your Right to Request

At any time, you may request to view a report of the information we have collected pertaining specifically to you/your data.

You may submit a Request of Erasure, by which all information we deem non-essential to our business or legal requirements may be considered for permanent deletion. This includes, but is not limited to: name, address, phone number — and the less obvious, like tracking numbers and VAT IDs.

Privacy of Children on Our website:  Our website is not intended for unsupervised use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
