4ocean diving for trash with BLU3 Nomad dive system
BLU3 supports ocean conservation in a variety of ways. One example which we are very proud of is 4ocean, a Public Benefit Corporation and B-Corp dedicated to ending the ocean plastic crisis, using our Nomad dive system for trash cleanup.
Alex Schulze, co-founder of 4ocean, finds Nomad to be useful for removing trash from shallow water areas in South Florida, nearby their headquarters in Boca Raton. Nomad allows him to stay underwater working on trash removal for extended periods of time without having to lug out heavy and bulky scuba gear, which would not fit on his micro skiff.

BLU3 Partnerships
BLU3 was founded with the goal of introducing more people to the underwater world, to foster a deeper sense of care for marine environments around the world. We want people to love the water the same way that we do. This is why BLU3 supports marine conservation organizations.
When an opportunity presents itself for BLU3 products to bring value to organizations that are doing good things for the planet, we jump on it. We support these organizations by providing product donations that best fit their needs to make an impact. Large or small, we know these organizations are outstanding and hope you do too.

The Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis
BLU3 supports marine conservation organizations primarily, but in some cases we find other reasons to give back to the community. We believe it is a privilege to be able to breathe underwater, especially when people with a disease like cystic fibrosis struggle just to breathe on dry land.
BLU3 is a proud sponsor of The Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis, an event to raise awareness for CF. Starting at midnight in late June, The Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis is a long-distance endurance paddle challenge and international championship race that takes paddlers 80 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. The event was inspired because of the incredible health benefits of the Ocean for those living with cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease.
Lake 2 Ocean Paddle Race to Save Florida's Waterways
BLU3 also sponsors a local paddle race aimed at raising funds and awareness about the water quality issues resulting from Lake Okeechobee discharges. The 36-mile course from Port Mayaca to Stuart took place on April 12, 2025.
You can read more about the race and these Florida waterway issues on our blog here.
