Nomad Mini is a battery powered dive system that delivers you compressed air from the surface through a hose as you breathe underwater to a maximum depth of 15 feet. Extremely compact and user-friendly, Nomad Mini provides about 40 minutes of dive time per battery, depending on diver usage. For more run time, you can connect multiple batteries together using the DiveBoost Kit, or simply swap out spare batteries with ease.

Nomad Mini is a portable and airline-friendly tankless diving system designed for depths of up to 15 feet with one battery. The DiveBoost Kit allows you to connect a second battery to the unit, increasing your dive time. You can even purchase an extra DiveBoost Kit and attach three batteries for 3x the normal run time.

Introducing Nomad Mini
The Nomad Mini dive system, rated for a maximum depth of 15 feet, was designed as a smaller version of the Nomad, rated to 30 feet. For many applications, 15 feet is more than enough depth performance. Nomad Mini has been optimized to be as small and lightweight as possible, and weighing in at only 12 pounds including the battery it is the most portable dive system in the world. This is only possible thanks to BLU3's patented Smart Reg technology which enables the pump to run at the ultimate lowest pressure based on the diver's depth.

The Smart Reg™
What allows Nomad Mini to be so compact, energy-efficient, and responsive is our patented Smart Reg™ – the first of its kind!
Here’s how it works: A silicone diaphragm inside the Smart Reg™ moves when the diver breathes. A waterproofed sensor measures the diaphragm movement – it then sends an electronic signal which triggers the compressor to pump air at exactly the time and speed that the diver is inhaling.
The Compressor
Nomad Mini utilizes a custom compressor built by our team in Florida, USA. This compressor has been tailored to meet the requirements of deeper dives with higher pressure and flow rates. Our compressor can handle saltwater intrusion without damage, making maintenance simple and hassle-free.
Nomad Mini is surrounded by a foam shell that provides inherent buoyancy and ensures the unit is unsinkable. For added buoyancy, stability, and visibility, Nomad Mini can be used with the Dry Bag Float or the Floatation Tube.
The Battery Pack
Nomad Mini is powered by a newly enhanced 86Wh lithium-ion battery pack that is both swappable and rechargeable. The pack, along with its connector, boasts an IP67 rating, making it well-equipped to handle saltwater environments. This battery is airline-friendly, fitting within carry-on luggage restrictions for most airlines. A handy charge-level indicator is seamlessly integrated onto the battery for effortless monitoring. When equipped with the DiveBoost Kit, divers have the option to add an extra battery, further extending their dive time. The Nomad Mini is designed to reach depths of up to 15 feet with just a single battery. To maximize your diving experience, consider stocking up on extra battery packs to ensure uninterrupted underwater exploration!
Note: Newer batteries are required to power Nomad Mini on a single battery. If you are powering Nomad Mini with older batteries, you will need to use multiple batteries and the DiveBoost Kit. Batteries shipped with Nomad Mini were made in 2023.
Dry Bag Float or Flotation Tube
The Nomad Mini comes with the versatile Dry Bag Float, which offers buoyancy, visibility, and waterproof storage. This included accessory features two air reservoirs that can be easily inflated by mouth, providing an impressive 44 lb of buoyancy. It also features a convenient waterproof compartment for storing your dry items during your dive.
For those looking for additional buoyancy and visibility, we offer the Flotation Tube as an optional accessory. The Flotation Tube is designed to enhance your diving experience with Nomad Mini, providing extra buoyancy and improved visibility in the water. Please note that the Flotation Tube is a separate accessory and can be purchased separately to complement your Nomad Mini dive system.
The Air Hose
Nomad’s 30-foot air hose is the perfect balance of weight, flexibility, and durability. The coils prevent the hose from kinking and make it super easy to handle. Bungee the hose up for easy storage. (Hose is longer than max depth to allow for more scope, making Nomad easier to tow while diving at max depth).

DOES NOMAD MINI FLOAT?
Yes, the Nomad Mini comes with a foam shell that provides inherent buoyancy for diving. To enhance buoyancy, stability, and visibility during offshore dives, we offer two options: the included Dry Bag Float or the Flotation Tube. The Dry Bag Float is included with the Nomad Mini, while the Flotation Tube can be purchased separately for optimal diving experience.
CAN I USE THE NOMAD MINI FOR HULL CLEANING OR INSPECTING MY BOAT'S PROPELLERS?
Yes, the Nomad Mini is ideal for tasks like hull cleaning, propeller inspection, and general boat maintenance. Its compact design allows for easy underwater access and mobility.
WHAT TYPE OF BATTERY IS NEEDED TO POWER NOMAD MINI USING ONLY ONE BATTERY?
The newer Nomad Mini batteries, which have a 20% increased capacity at 86Wh, are designed to power the Nomad Mini using just one battery. If you are utilizing the older 72Wh batteries, you will need to use the DiveBoost Kit in conjunction with two batteries. Please note that batteries shipped with Nomad Mini were manufactured in 2023.
WHAT MAKES THE DIVEBOOST™ KIT SO SPECIAL?
The DiveBoost™ Kit is equipped with advanced electronics that enable the simultaneous use of multiple lithium-ion batteries. This unique DiveBoost technology allows users to stack batteries, significantly extending your dive time. With the ability to stack up to two DiveBoost kits, you can maximize your underwater exploration. However, please note that while it extends dive time, it doesn't increase the depth rating of your Nomad Mini.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEMO, NOMAD MINI AND NOMAD?
Nemo is engineered for dives up to 10 feet deep. Nomad Mini allows divers to reach depths of 15 feet and features an optional accessory for stacking batteries for extended dive time. Nomad, on the other hand, is crafted for dives up to 30 feet deep.
WHAT IF NOMAD MINI FLIPS OR GOES UNDERWATER?
As long as the very top of the intake snorkel remains above the water, you will continue to receive fresh air flow from Nomad Mini. The rest of the unit can be submerged. If water does get inside the pump, no damage will be caused. Simply rinse it through with fresh water.
IS NOMAD MINI AIRPLANE FRIENDLY?
Absolutely! The lithium battery used is under the limit and accepted by most airlines in carry-on luggage so that you can travel around the world with Nomad Mini. The Nomad Mini inside its backpack will fit as carry-on luggage, or you can check the unit while bringing the battery as carry-on. DOES THE NOMAD MINI BATTERY LAST LONGER IN SHALLOW WATER?
Certainly! When diving in shallow waters with the Nomad Mini, you can anticipate extended run times. Plus, you can coil up any excess hose length for a streamlined experience, keeping the Nomad Mini conveniently close. For dives less than 10 feet deep, the Nemo can deliver similar or even longer run times. Though it's worth noting that the Nomad Mini is already engineered for dives up to 15 feet deep with a single battery. The DiveBoost™ Kit further enhances the diving experience by allowing users to add an additional battery for increased dive time
WHAT MAINTENANCE DOES THE NOMAD MINI REQUIRE AFTER US USE ON A BOAT?
After use, rinse all components with fresh water, allow them to dry thoroughly, and store them in a cool, dry space onboard or at home.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN NOMAD MINI DIVING?
WARNING: Nomad Mini uses strong magnets. Magnets may interfere with pacemakers or medical implants. It is advised that persons with pacemakers or medical implants do not use Nomad. Persons with pacemakers or medical implants must stay back at least 2 feet from the Nomad Mini main body at all times.
Prior to Nomad Mini Diving, ALL USERS Must:

- Complete the BLU3 Fitness to Dive Evaluation
- Complete the BLU3 Online Dive Training Course
All Users must be able to:
- Swim 200 yards without stopping, without a time limit
- Tread water for 10 minutes continuously
Age Limits:
- Users must be 8 years of age or older to Nomad Mini dive, but are restricted to diving in a swimming pool only, in water shallow enough so that they can stand with their head above the surface of the water.
- Users must be 10 years of age or older to dive outside of the pool.
- Users under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian supervision at all times.
