Scuba4Good and BLU3 Join Forces to Make Diving Accessible

BLU3, the leading manufacturer of tankless battery-powered dive systems, is proud to have partnered with Scuba4Good, in a unified mission that makes scuba diving accessible to a wider audience.. Scuba4Good is an organization that provides adaptive diving experiences to people with disabilities, veterans, and other underserved populations.

Together, Scuba4Good and Gold Coast Scuba organized a Discover Scuba Experience (DSE) event at the Coral Ridge Yacht Club pool in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The event was designed to help new and experienced adaptive divers experience the thrill of scuba diving in a controlled setting.

The event was a huge success! Participants used the BLU3 Nemo Dive System (recently phased out to make way for the all-new Nomad Mini) to breathe underwater without the use of traditional scuba tanks. The Nemo Dive System proved to be a game changer for adaptive diving, as will the Nomad Mini. Participants were able to learn the basics of diving without the weight of tanks and extra gear (which can often be cumbersome).

One of the participants commented, "The dive system opened up a world I never  thought was available to me." This sentiment was echoed by many of the other participants, who were amazed by how easy it was to use and how it allowed them to experience the underwater world in a whole new way.
