Summer is right around the corner, and with it comes the promise of sunshine, warm weather, and long, lazy days. It’s the perfect time to try Nemo, an activity that’s perfect for the whole family. Nemo is a tankless diving system that allows you to go deeper than snorkeling without the bulky gear of scuba diving. If you want to take your family on a whole new kind of adventure, Nemo’s hookah diving system is exactly what you need.

Here are five great reasons to try Nemo with your family this summer.

1. Nemo is a great exercise.

Swimming is good for your whole body. It might not feel like a workout the way a tough spinning class does, but it is still a great cardiovascular workout, strengthening your heart muscle and improving blood circulation. It’s also gentle on your body, reducing pressure on your joints, making it a great option for older family members or those with joint disorders.

2. Nemo can improve your swimming skills.

Much like snorkeling and conventional diving, Nemo requires you to practice your swimming skills. While you don’t need to be a professional swimmer, practice makes you better, and each time you slip under the surface, you work your whole body, strengthening those swimming muscles and building those skills. What that means for your kids is creating stronger swimmers and greater water awareness.

3. Nemo is a learning experience.

With Nemo tankless diving, your family will get to learn about the underwater universe while having a blast. They can explore sea life, marine plants, reefs, artifacts, and more while discovering a new respect for the world around them. They will also learn critical lessons about environmental awareness and underwater etiquette, such as not taking seashells from their habitats or disturbing sea creatures. Nemo is an environmentally friendly family activity idea, too, with rechargeable batteries and a small profile that is easy to tote along everywhere you go.

4. Nemo is stimulating mentally and physically.

How many times over the last year have you struggled to get your kids off their electronic devices? If you’re like most parents, you don’t need to contemplate that answer. With Nemo, your kids will be untethered from their smartphones and ready to explore the vast outdoors. Screen time has nothing on sea-time, and the Nemo is so portable that you can easily carry it to your favorite water spots, from creeks and streams to springs and beaches.

5. Nemo is all about family togetherness.

With Nemo, you can all dive together, searching for paradise among the reefs, discovering new treasures around every corner. Each new exploration will bring you a little closer and give you a new way to connect with one another. At the end of your Nemo adventure, you will have plenty of things to talk about and share with one another and others, too, as you plan your next family activity idea.

Safe Swimming with Children

When swimming or using Nemo with children, make sure they and you follow all the safety rules. Nemo’s hookah diving system is designed for use by kids at least 8 years or older. Kids should learn to use our tankless dive system in a safe, enclosed environment, such as a pool. Kids between 8 and 10 should stick to shallow pools in which they can stand with their heads above water. Kids over 10 can use Nemo to dive outside pools but should be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. All Nemo users must be able to swim 200 yards without stopping and be able to tread water for 10 minutes without pausing.
